Beijing Language and Culture University · Cognitive Science & Technology · 2026 cohort

This is one student's working library for a four-year Cognitive Science degree, heading toward a master's abroad. It exists because the programme is brand new — there are no senior students to ask, so the curriculum had to be mapped out from scratch: what each course covers, which textbook it uses, and what has to be self-taught on the side (the maths and programming the degree assumes but does not teach).

About the language: the navigation and this page are in English. The notes themselves are written in Chinese, because that is the language the courses are taught in — so most links below open Chinese pages. The module list marks which parts are still Chinese-only. Translated notes are being added gradually.

What is inside

Each module page lists what it contains, which textbook it follows, and how it was verified.

This matters more than it sounds: study notes that are quietly wrong are worse than no notes.
